Insect Skateboards produce the highest quality decks and longboards known to man. Each and every deck is hand crafted so the attention to detail is never compromised.
Budget and middle of the road Longboard Companies and Distributors advertise heavily to promote and distribute there cheap mass produced products in a cut throat market created by them selves and then they have the nerve to “Bitch”. Buy cheap, buy twice, why not save a lot of money in the long run and start off with a good deck? If you do you will never look back.
Let’s look at the sums:
Cheapo online complete £69.99 SRP, the online shop makes say £20, the post office £4.50, the distributor £12, the import freight company say £6, Gordon Brown and his out of touch fools say £5, oh we forgot the Chinese or Far Eastern Factory but let’s do a sub total first: £20 + £4.50 + £12 + £4 + £5 = £45
Then someone has to pay for it to be sent from the UK distributor to some ones bedroom, oh sorry “Leading online long board specialist”
Well although all the above figures maybe hypothetical the end result is some poor dude ends up with absolute rubbish that self proclaimed “specialists” and “leading online stores” refer to as, well you read the quote:
"From the beginning everything we have created has revolved around the rider. When we first started producing boards we combined the basics to the requirements of today. Pure, unpretentious products where the subtle emerges victorious over the spectacular".
All this for £69.99!! Why are these clever people making toys? What a waste of talent, they should be in Government sorting out the UK debt issues. Not to mention none of them can ride any kind of skateboards, have zero technical understanding in the art of Longboarding, just great at copying from other reputable brands with subtle changes to avoid copyright and patent laws with no moral or ethical standards what so ever. And then try and take companies like us to Court for being honest, well if that makes you happy that's fine with us!!

Support British Skate Shops
As online stores seem to copy and follow the innovators in our industry we have some skate board Shop images above for you to copy and paste to your web sites so you can keep up your pretence to be “a leading skate shop in the UK”. Without the financial pain of a lease or purchasing a shop.
Even Faltown skates a Cornish outfit don’t make there own boards or even have a Cornish skate shop. Lush Longboards was a true British company and now all their boards are made overseas. It almost feels like skaters are turning in on them selves and have sold there souls, how sad and embarrassing.
At great expense to APOLLO 11 our skating team have been trained by Steve Hopper in Seattle in the art of creating high quality carbon fibre, nanotech and traditional wooden longboards. We sell the boards that they have made and invest the profits back into young skaters, fact.
Proud to be Cornish.
