Born was an amazing relationship between one of the most respected Power Boat creators. There task was very straight forward – create the core that can withstand an infinite combination of stresses and strains that these decks where going to be exposed to but the deck still must have a heart overflowing with “passion and sole”, a longboard deck needs to feel “alive”, to be an integral part of the riders body and mind. If only his instructions where that simple, he demanded that every deck still had his personal attention. Yes every single deck still has many of the processes hand crafted by this master.
So for Steve to achieve such high and demanding results he had to learn to work with science and machines. How he kept his sanity only his wonderful wife and children know this secret but he succeeded and has excelled beyond belief.
